On Tuesday, Oct. 1, VGM kicked off Employee Ownership Month by unveiling it’s new 100% Employee Owned flag!
VGM’s Employee Ownership Month theme this year takes a cue from the Olympics. They're creating a little friendly competition among VGMers with the Employee Ownership Games - a month long schedule of in-person and virtual activities. To get things started, VGM held their own version of passing the torch during a special opening ceremony at their headquarters in Waterloo, Iowa.
VGM Employee Owners of the Year Jenna McKinley (HOMELINK) and Anna Kilburg (VGM Fulfillment) joined CEO Jeremy Stolz and Executive Chairman of the Board Mike Mallaro to pass the flag and celebrate the importance of employee ownership. The new flag will fly at all VGM locations.
“This flag celebrates the fact that employee ownership is at the center of everything here at VGM,” said Stolz. “It’s who we are, it’s the secret to our success, and it’s what makes being part of VGM so special.”
