Determined, resilient, and fiercely positive are words that automatically came to mind while listening to Amy Van Dyken speak at the VGM Heartland Conference. Amy, a six-time Olympic champion and former competitive swimmer, suffered a major spinal cord injury in 2014 severing her T11 vertebrae, but not her spirits.
