On Wednesday, Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day, the VGM Community Giving Committee announced 2024’s Be the Change Partner: Habitat for Humanity.
Habitat for Humanity is a global non-profit organization that helps build or improve homes in countless communities for those in need of housing. They have changed the lives of millions across the world and impacted families in VGM’s own community.
As part of the 2024 Be the Change announcement, VGM donated $45,000 total, spread across three locations in the U.S. near VGM locations.
- Iowa Heartland (VGM headquarters): $30,000
- Greater Des Moines (Two Rivers Marketing): $10,000
- Greater Harrisburg (VGM Fulfillment Pennsylvania warehouse): $5,000
On top of the financial donation, CEO Jeremy Stolz announced that VGM's will also be contributing 3,000 volunteer hours—allowing employee owners to get hands-on with the Be the Change Partner and Make a Difference for the communities they call home.
