On Sept. 6, the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Courier announced VGM Group as one of the Cedar Valley’s Employers of Choice. The announcement was shared both digitally and in print via a special tab that featured articles highlighting the 2020 winners. The businesses that were selected were nominated by their employees and must meet the following criteria for consideration:
- Do they care about quality of life issues?
- Do they provide employees with regular feedback from a top management team?
- Is there support for family and flexibility for family issues and events?
- Are employees recognized for a job well done?
- Is there opportunity to learn new skills?
Thanks to the employee owners who felt VGM checked all of these boxes and took the time to share why we deserved the award.
