NewsVGM Group Announces Ryan Wood as Chief Information Security Officer

VGM Group Inc. is excited to announce Ryan Wood as its chief information security officer (CISO).

Wood has more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity and infrastructure management across global organizations. Most recently, he served as global director of IT security and systems engineering for Krause Group Ltd., which has more than 5,000 employees and multiple companies operating throughout the United States and European Union. As CISO at VGM, Wood will be responsible for overseeing VGM’s information security and regulatory compliance initiatives as well as executing quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) and credentialing programs.

Along with his experience, Wood maintains a number of security and compliance credentials. These include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in cybersecurity and information assurance from Western Governors University.
