NewsVGM Supports My Waterloo Days to Bring the Community Together

VGM Group is excited to announce its exclusive sponsorship of the Lincoln Park Stage during My Waterloo Days, June 8-11, 2023, with a donation of $15,000. Christa Miehe, president of corporate communications, and Sara Laures, chief people officer, at VGM Group, presented the check to Tavis Hall, executive director of Experience Waterloo, on Monday, May 15.  

My Waterloo Days will take place in downtown Waterloo at Lincoln Park and Anton’s Garden. It is a free community event celebrating the best of Waterloo. For more than 40 years, residents and visitors have gathered to celebrate, showcase, and enjoy all that the city has to offer. Events include the iconic My Waterloo Days Parade, concerts, kids’ events, and food vendors, among other entertainment options. 

“We are thrilled to offer support for My Waterloo Days, an event that aligns perfectly with VGM Group’s core values,” Miehe said. “VGM Group is committed to making a difference in the communities we call home, and we encourage our employee owners to find the fun in their day. My Waterloo Days combines these values into one event. And we are honored to do our part to help bring the community together for a well-deserved celebration.”  

VGM’s donation supports the concerts that will take place on the stage at Lincoln Park on Friday, June 9, and Saturday, June 10. The headlining artists for the event will be Ginuwine, Ying Yang Twins, and Blessid Union of Souls.

We couldn’t do it without the area businesses and community members.
