Annually, VGM awards multiple $1,500 scholarships to high school senior dependents of current employees with a minimum 3.0 GPA who are pursuing a post-secondary education. While many applied, only six were chosen with assistance from the Waterloo Community Foundation. Selection criteria included involvement in their community, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, and personal essays.
“We are proud to partner with VGM Group to help invest in our next generation of leaders,” said Erin Tink, Waterloo Community Foundation Executive Director. “Students pursuing post-secondary education deserve recognition and help to succeed. We thank VGM Group for investing in these six students to help them achieve their career goals and dreams.”
